Note: Terracotta pottery is porous so care must be taken if you leave it sitting with water in it for any period of time. It pays to place a saucer underneath jugs if you do not want the surface it is sitting on to become damp. Terracotta is dishwasher safe but we suggest hand-washing to avoid chipping the glaze.
